Our Dream & Passion

Help Us Build a Place That Gives Horses and Mules a second chance.

We’ve worked hard for everything we have. We didn’t grow up in ranching families or inherit land; we started from scratch with a dream, a lot of grit, and a deep respect for the animals that make this life possible. It hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced our fair share of setbacks, long nights, and hard lessons, but through it all we stayed determined to build something real and meaningful.

Over the past few years, we’ve paid off more than $90,000 in debt. We have bought, fixed and sold properties to stair step our way into better places for us and our equines and have stayed completely debt free (other than our mortgage). Every fence post, every hay bale, every video, and every mile in the saddle has been earned through hard work and faith in the process. Asking for help doesn’t come easy for us, we’re used to putting our heads down and figuring it out ourselves. But we also know this next step is bigger than what we can do alone.

Our dream is to secure a property that will allow us to grow our mission: to adopt, gentle, and train mustangs and to also help mules that have found themselves in a tough spot, in kill pens, or in need of extra help. Through our passions and lifetime of learning about horsemanship and mulemanship we feel we have the ability to give them the time, miles, and experience they need to be successful in a real working home. We also want to offer a safe landing for horses that need a fresh start and a fair chance. We believe in giving these animals purpose, not just a place to stand. We want to help those we can to find their forever homes and gain a second chance at life. It's something we already do but on a very small scale, helping 1-2 horses and mules every couple of years. We would like to help more in need.

Although ideally we would be purchasing land, we are open to caretaking an existing property in trade for use of the facilities and building our dream there. Looking ahead, we hope this future ranch can also host small gatherings, clinics, and retreats. A place where folks who love this lifestyle, or want to learn about it, can come experience what it’s really like to live and work with good stock, good people, and wide-open country.
